QuickMark is a useful and at the same time fun application. It was mainly designed to decode QR codes, but it can also encode phone numbers, text messages, e-mail addresses, vCards and save them as QR code images. It is also able to decode QR code from images, your webcam and even screen captures.
QuickMark impresses through the way in which it works. Just move its window over the QR code and click on the Decode button. The program will instantly display the decoded content. Though, it should be mentioned that the code that you want to decode should fit in the rectangle on the interface of QuickMark. In a similar manner, you can use your webcam to provide QuickMark with the QR code that you need it to decode.
In order to generate QR code, select the content type that you want to be encoded and fill-in the necessary fields. After choosing the desired code type, as well as the resolution, color and image format, click on the Save button. QuickMark is able to export the code to formats like BMP, JPG, GIF and PNG. For example, I managed to easily save the contents of an e-mail message (including the subject and the recipient) as a JPG image.
If you need to generate QR code for various reasons, or just to have fun by encoding personal messages, you should try QuickMark.
